The relative remoteness of Sunrise at 1770 from large populated areas has meant the area's natural assets have remained largely untouched.  The community's seemingly infinite coastal beaches (click to view), protected wetlands, estuaries, dry woodlands and rainforest, rich fishing grounds and uncrowded surf breaks set the scene for the complete relaxed lifestyle.

Residents have access to one of the natural wonders of the world, taking a one and a half hour boat cruise to the Capricorn Section of the Great Barrier Reef and snorkel through some of earth's most striking coral reefs.

Only 172 houses will be located within the Sunrise Village, either with uninterrupted 180-degree views of the ocean or lying alongside the Reedy Creek Conservation reserve.  With owners allowed only to clear a "building foot print" on their land, residents will be made to feel as though they are miles from one another, unable to view anything but coastal landscape and towering trees.
